Gloucester Masters was formed in 1988 by
Mike Phelps (our former chief coach who died 7/5/2009) to promote fitness through swimming and competition in Open & Masters events at regional, national and international fixtures. (

Membership open to swimmers aged 18 or over. Competitions are in 5 year age bands.
Coaching and stroke improvement from Simon Cooper with assistant coach Tom Howells.
Social events are held through the year.
